Security Cameras
You are probably familiar with the security cameras you see cropping up around the outside of various businesses. There is the CCTV security camera that is mounted outside the drive through window of the local fast food restaurant, the security camera system that provides safety for employees of all-night gas stations and convenience stores, and even the security camera surveillance equipment that is famous for catching the cheaters in Las Vegas. Security Cameras are here to stay and more and more businesses rely on them to not only protect their buildings from vandalism, but to also ensure that their employees and customers are safe, while at the same time ensuring that their merchandise is not tampered with. While some may feel awkward with the rise in security cameras, it is a foregone conclusion that they are here to stay. A well known Colorado bookstore owner once stated that she would not even consider installing a fake security camera but since then she has probably given to the pressing need of protecting her inventory and has installed a wireless security camera just like many other businesses. It is important to realize that security cameras by themselves do not provide any safety or security. It is the fact that they may deter criminals from carrying out their plans that makes them so attractive to businesses, and dummy security cameras need not apply.

Yet security cameras are more and more finding their ways into private homes. There is the security camera that helps mom keep an eye on the pool, the security camera CCTV that protects the home while the family is away on vacation, and of course the home security camera that helps to keep an eye on the garage with the valuable cars inside. Some security camera systems are used specifically to keep the family safe, such as the PC security camera system that may be used to spy on the babysitter. While businesses often upgrade to bullet proof cam security cameras that repel colors & are weatherproof, outdoor wireless security cameras with easily disguised security camera cables may now be found in your neighbor’s driveway
The outdoor security camera may quite possibly be connected to a wireless security camera system which is part of a security camera network. Home security systems use wireless cameras that are operated as a security camera DVR standalone or IP security camera which is hooked up to the computer which in turn checks and operates the camera network security with the help of security camera software. While it may be odd to see that some homes are better protected than a local business, it only goes to show that the camera which provides homeland security will also protect you at home. |
