Canon Sd450
The Canon Powershot sd450 is an updated model of the SD400 Digital Elph, with a five megapixel resolution. It is a in-between from the SD400 and the SD550, which has better technology and has garnered more glowing reviews. The Canon sd450 camera case is smaller than the higher-end model in size, but has higher resolution than the previous SD400. Better quality pictures and a sleek, compact unit might be just the digital camera you're looking for this season. The Canon sd450 weighs 5.8 ounces and is small enough to fit in your pocket. The dimensions are 3.4 x 2.1 x .083 inches. Comfortably carrying this camera will not be a problem, though handling the compact device with extra large hands might be. The index finger is used to operate the controls, from the shutter release button, to the zoom lever, and selecting between shoot and playback modes. Features Of The Canon Sd450 The Canon sd450 packs many desirable features into a very limited space. Not only does the device have a 3X zoom lens, a microphone, a focus-assist lamp, and an optical viewfinder built in, even the bottom of the camera has a metal tripod socket. The camera also has buttons on the back that let you change settings, a four way controller and an LCD screen measuring 2.5 inches. Popular modes of digital cameras are included such as the burst mode, metering, and a self-timer.

The Canon sd450 digital camera has been described as a basic camera with a few interesting adds ons. Some of these interesting add ons include the underwater mode (which requires waterproof housing...not a good idea to take your camera into the water without the housing!) There are also other helpful settings such as portrait photos, night snapshots, and indoor and exterior. One impressive feature is that the Canon sd450 digital camera allows you to use the zoom lever to expand a portion of the entire image to fit the entire frame. You can also increase color saturation, darken or lighten skin tones and swap colors. Finally, the Canon sd450 has a video camera mode, allowing you to make brief movie clips.
Drawbacks And Other Issues The Canon sd450 is not a cheap camera, so a negative review would have to include the lack of manual control, not to mention the absence of an action mode. Without manual control, a shooter cannot alter the shutter speed or f-stops, which allow for more artistic photos and the ability to perfectly capture action or sports moments. The Canon sd450 camera is a good buy if you see it for sale where cameras are sold. However, if you're looking for extra accessories, and more manual control, the Canon sd450 might leave you shooting for more options |
