The HP e427 digital camera doesn't offer much in the way of internal memory. 16 MB is initially included, though you can add an additional SD or MultiMedia memory card to increase your memory up to one GB. One gigabyte of memory lets you take approximately 1000 pictures, give or take some. That's probably more individual shots than you will ever take on one vacation! Other HP e427 camera accessories are available on line and may come with the purchase of a unit.
Problems With Buying The HP E427 Camera The HP e427 camera is cheap at just a little over $100.00, but users have made some negative reviews about some issues in operation and performance. If you choose your own settings for the camera you can only keep using them as long as the camera stays on. However, when you switch it off you lose those settings and it returns to the default options. The camera also has a battery saving mechanism. If your camera is left on for a long period of inactivity, then the LCD screen turns off. You can restart at the point you left off by simply pushing the Make Photo button and the screen will wake up. As for the camera, there is no waiting period, since it is functional even when the LCD screen shuts down. The HP e427 is obviously not for professional use. It is an effective point and shoot camera that could be your best buy if you are looking for something cheap, functional and easy to use. |
